📏 How to Measure & Order the Right Size
All our Juliet balconies are 1100mm in height - the UK industry standard for Building Regulations compliance. You choose your desired width from our ready-to-buy sizes or request a fully custom dimension.
Step 1 - Measure Your Opening (Brick to Brick) Measure the width of your opening from brick face to brick face.
- ✔ Measure at the widest point
- ✔ Record in millimetres
Step 2 - Add 300mm for the Glass Overhang Our balconies are designed to sit over the brickwork with a 150mm overhang on each side.
Add 300mm to your brick-to-brick measurement when ordering.
Example: Brick-to-brick opening = 2000mm -> Order size = 2300mm
Step 3 - Select Your Width or Request a Custom Size Choose from our standard ready-to-buy widths, or
request a bespoke size for non-standard openings.
Height is fixed at 1100mm - the industry standard for all UK Juliet balcony installations.
