REFUND & RETURNS POLICY

UK Sealed Units Ltd — Refund & Returns Policy Last updated: August 2026

Bespoke & Made-to-Measure Orders

All products supplied by UK Sealed Units Ltd are manufactured to your exact specifications. As such, bespoke and made-to-measure orders cannot be cancelled, returned, or refunded once production has begun.

This applies to all of the following products:

  • Juliet Balconies (all sizes, including standard widths)
  • Flat Roof Skylights (Double & Triple Glazed)
  • Bespoke Glass Units
  • Replacement Double Glazed Units (cut to size)
  • Made-to-measure Windows & Doors
  • Bespoke Shower Glass & Mirrors

Production begins upon receipt of your order confirmation and payment. If you need to cancel or amend your order, you must contact us immediately— we cannot guarantee amendments can be made once manufacturing has started.

This policy does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 or the Consumer Rights Act 2015 where applicable.

Damaged or Defective Goods

If your order arrives damaged or with a manufacturing defect, we will repair or replace the affected item at no cost to you, subject to the following conditions:

  1. Damage must be noted on the delivery driver's paperwork at the time of delivery
  2. Photographs of the damage must be taken immediately upon delivery
  3. You must contact us within 24 hours of delivery:

Claims submitted without photographic evidence or without a signed note of damage on delivery paperwork may not be accepted. We reserve the right to inspect the goods before agreeing to a repair or replacement.

Incorrect Orders

If we have manufactured your order incorrectly (i.e. to dimensions or specifications different from those confirmed in your order), we will remake and redeliver the correct item at no charge. Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order reference and photographs.

We are not responsible for errors in dimensions or specifications provided by the customer. Please double-check all measurements before submitting your order. If you are unsure, contact us before ordering — our team is happy to advise.

Standard (Non-Bespoke) Stock Items

Where we supply standard stock items (not made to measure), you have the right to return unused goods in their original condition within 14 days of receipt, in accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty or incorrectly supplied.

Refunds for eligible returns will be processed within 14 days of us receiving the returned goods, using the original payment method.

Trade & Business Customers

Orders placed by trade or business customers (B2B) are not subject to the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. All sales to trade customers are final once production has commenced. Please ensure all specifications are confirmed in writing before placing your order.
